Dear Daffodils: My Anniversary Present for Him

My Anniversary Present for Him

A lovely card if I don't say so myself. It's from Clintons.
So this week it has been three years since we first got together and so to celebrate I went up to York to meet him for the day and we went to the cinema to see 'The Wolf of Wall Street'  (which is a wonderful film, but not one to watch with your parents).  As a little anniversary present, I jumped on the mason jar bandwagon and filled up two jars with sweets and one with ingredients for a delicious hot chocolate.

In the sweets jar I filled it with all my his favourite sweets such as little chocolate hearts, Haribo hearts and rings, Percy Pigs and mint humbugs. Yum yum. I used Kilner jars so I know the food won't go off and it's something he can reuse for storage. The sweets jar is a clip-lock so it's especially secure! (He likes practicality so this was a bonus).

The hot chocolate jar contains: 3 teaspoons of hot chocolate powder, 4 marshmallows, a chocolate flake and a couple more mints (because he needs them). We're both big hot chocolate lovers, especially when the weather is cold like this. I'm sure he'll enjoy them, he looked really happen when he opened them anyway.

Now to think of something for Valentine's day! Any ideas?

  7. Thanks very much! ♥ I've heard about that too. Apparently many scenes had to be cut because of the certificate ratings. :o
