Dear Daffodils: The River Ouse

The River Ouse

So we finally had a few days of warmish weather! This will probably be the only Summer that we get in England... It's either raining, windy, cloudy or a mixture of all three. To make the most of the warm day, my family and I went to the River Ouse in York to have a picnic. I also took the opportunity to take photographs:

It was really busy! So many people came out to enjoy the weather. My Mum really wants to hire one of the little red boats to go sailing down the river in. I think they look quite cute.

Have you ever been sailing? Or maybe you've been enjoying good weather?

  5. ooooh I have so been enjoying the warmer weater, although here in Delaware it is starting to get humid (which isn't too fun). So excited that the apartment pool will be open soon so I can go swimming again on the weekends :D Love your river photos, so pretty and inspiring :) Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog, btw!

    1. It never really gets humid here. It's not warm enough for that.
I wish I could go swimming here! We have a local swimming pool, but it's too small really. Haha.
